FAIRFAX Hockey was founded by Jordan Turner and Dan Smith, two experienced UK ice hockey players with extensive backgrounds spanning junior, league, and recreational levels. After becoming teammates in 2023, they combined their expertise and passion to create the perfect hockey jersey.
Jordan Turner began his hockey journey at the age of nine, spending most of his junior career with the Chelmsford Ice Hockey Academy. At 18, he made his senior debut with the Lee Valley Lions in NIHL 2, where he played for three seasons before stepping away from the sport. In 2023, Jordan made his return to hockey, joining the Medway Eagles recreational team.
In addition to his hockey background, Jordan is the founder of FAIRFAX Truckers, a successful clothing and lifestyle brand that has collaborated with high-profile celebrities and leading online influencers. With his expertise in fashion and business, Jordan seamlessly blends his industry knowledge with his lifelong passion for hockey, bringing innovative design and style to FAIRFAX Hockey.
Dan Smith began his hockey journey with the Invicta Juniors, quickly progressing through the ranks from the under-16s to the under-18s in a short period of time. Following his time with the under-18s, Dan advanced to senior-level hockey, joining the Invicta Mustangs in NIHL 2.
After playing three to four seasons with the Mustangs, Dan stepped away from the sport to focus on building his professional career. However, his passion for hockey remained, and he eventually returned to the ice with the Medway Eagles in the recreational league.
It was during his time with the Medway Eagles that Dan met Jordan Turner, and the two began discussing the idea of creating lightweight jerseys designed for performance and comfort. Combining their ideas and expertise, they developed a range of jerseys that are both simple in design and exceptionally lightweight, providing a fresh and innovative option for players.
